01 / The experience
Step inside.
Drop into another world.
A shipping container became a live XR studio. Guests stepped in front of a camera and into a virtual skate environment, with physical lighting synchronized to the scene.
Behind the moment: camera capture, green-screen keying, and real-time compositing in Unreal Engine. A simple kiosk kept the experience moving. The finished clip found its way to each guest without anyone moving a file.
02 / Making it work
A studio’s worth of tools.
One working system.
leftblankco designed and built the technical backbone: camera capture, Unreal integration, lighting control, the operator kiosk, and the delivery pipeline.
Hardware keying and SDI capture brought guests into the virtual scene. Unreal sequences coordinated recording and DMX lighting. A custom app gave event staff scene selection and capture controls without exposing the complexity underneath.
Recording, rendering, and delivery ran as one workflow. Local and cloud services handled the handoff, while remote monitoring and support kept the system accessible beyond the container.
